The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is Samsung’s latest foldable phone, introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, along with the Galaxy Z Fold7. This phone merges the charm of a compact and sleek design with impressive hardware and advanced AI.
Galaxy Z Flip7 Specifications
The Flip7 phone is built with Super AMOLED 120 Hz refresh rates, having a large 4.1-inch edge-to-edge “FlexWindow” cover screen. It has a brightness of 2,600 nits, ideal for quick camera previews, messaging, or even checking updates without unfolding.
There’s a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display inside at Full HD+ resolution, running at 120 Hz for fluid visuals. It is lightweight, i.e, 188 grams, making it easy to slip into a pocket as it’s slim, having 166.7×75.2×6.5mm.
Durability of this is enhanced by Gorilla Glass Victus2, Armor Aluminium framing on both sides, and a new Armor FlexHinge that folds closer and resists wear.
Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chip is there, paired with 12 GB RAM, with storage options of 512 GB and 256 GB. This may help support Samsung DeX for desktop-style use.
Samsung says that it uplifts the performance of 9% CPU, 23% GPU, and 22% NPU compared to its predecessor.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 phone runs on One UI 8 on Android 16 that features an updated Now Bar on the cover, Now Brief widgets, multi-widget support, and animated wallpapers. It’s mainly designed to take full advantage of foldable displays, even though it’s closed.
Galaxy Z Flip7 Camera and AI
People who love photos get a 50 MP wide sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide lens on the back, along with a 10MP front camera.
The Galaxy AI and ProVisual Engine help in enabling smart tools such as Auto Zoom framing, AI Zoom, custom filters via AI learning, and low-light Nightography. Everything is accessible when you use it folded with FlexCam.
Battery and Connectivity
This phone supports 25W wired and wireless charging, which includes PowerShare. It has 4300mAh battery, which is largest ever in a Flip phone, having 31 hours of video playback. It connects with Bluetooth 5.4, LTE, 5G, and Wi-Fi 7.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Price in India
Pre-orders start from July 9 in India with general sale from July 25, just like the new Galaxy Smartwatches. In India, prices start at ₹1,09,999 for 256GB and ₹1,21,999 for 512 GB.
