Samsung launched three smartwatches on July 9: the Galaxy Watch 8, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, & the rugged Galaxy Watch Ultra. Some of these watches focus more on health features, smooth performance, and comfort.
You may find the Watch8 in two sizes, i.e, 40mm and 44mm, whereas the classic model is 46mm only.
The Watch8 is highly thin at just 8.6mm, which is known to be Samsung’s thinnest smartwatch ever. They share a sleek, squircle design inspired by the Ultra.
Every model features a Super AMOLED screen with Sapphire Crystal scratch resistance, with peak brightness of 3000nits for a clear outdoor view.
These watches run on Samsung’s new Exynos W1000 chip (3nm), which is coupled with 2 GB of RAM. Storage differs:
- Watch8 – 32GB storage
- Watch8 Classic – 64GB storage
Battery sizes also differ:
- 40mm Watch8 – 325mAh
- 44mm Watch8 – 435mAh

Every smartwatch supports fast wireless charging with certified water resistance (5 ATM + IP68). Also, you may find military grade durability in it.
These watches run on Wear OS 6 with Samsung’s One UI 8 Watch, including Google’s Gemini assistant for voice instructions like ” Start a 20-minute run.”

For easy navigation, the classic Watch adds a physical rotating bezel and a quick button.
The top-end model features a 47mm titanium case with 64GB storage and a huge 590mAh battery that offers you up to 100 hours in power-saving mode. Also, you may find it in a new Titanium Blue finish in India.
The pricing of these smartwatches differs, such as the Galaxy Watch 8 starts at ₹32,999 for 40mm and ₹35,999 for the 44mm. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic starts at ₹46,999, and the Ultra Watch is priced at ₹59,999.
