Nothing, the smartphone company known for its glyph lighting and transparent back phones, enters the premium audio market with its first over-ear headphones, called Headphone (1).

Packed with advanced sound tech, modern design, and up to 80 hours of battery life, Nothing Headphone (1) is launched at a price of ₹21,999. But you can get it for ₹19,999 under the early-bird offer on July 15 on Flipkart.

Like the Nothing phones, this new headphone also has a transparent design, making an illusion that its inner parts are visible. It offers a very unique cyberpunk look, and many people would find the design futuristic.

The Headphone (1) has been made in partnership with KEF, a well-known British audio company.

It comes with large 40 mm dynamic drivers, giving rich and powerful sound. Whether you’re listening to songs or watching a movie, the sound is meant to be crisp, clear, and deep.

One of the top features of these headphones is 42db ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), which can easily block outside noise and unwanted sounds.

There’s also a transparency mode letting users hear what’s happening around them when needed. These modes are great for both quiet and busy places.

For clear calls, the Headphone 1 comes with four smart microphones that reduce background noise. It supports Bluetooth 5.3, LDAC, AAC, and SBC for high-quality wireless audio. Plus, there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C charging, giving users more options.

The battery life also seems impressive, with up to 80 hours of playback without ANC, and 35 hours with ANC turned on. Even better, a quick 5-minute charge can provide about 2.4 hours of playback, making it super convenient for daily use.

Instead of using touch controls, Nothing has added physical controls. There’s a volume roller, a paddle switch, and a multifunction button. These are easier to find and use, even without looking.

Overall, Nothing Headphone (1) is a great product for sound enthusiasts as it provides clear and crisp audio with a premium design. This can easily be an alternative to Apple’s headphones, AirPods Max, which come at a third of its price.
