Lumio, an Indian television brand, has entered the home projector segment with the launch of Arc 5 and Arc 7, two mid-range smart projectors designed to deliver big-screen experiences at home. Priced at ₹19,999 and ₹34,999 respectively, the new devices promise high-quality visuals, smart features, and easy setup.

According to Lumio, projectors account for just 1% of India’s TV market, compared to 15–20% in developed countries. With the Arc 5 and Arc 7, Lumio is targeting consumers who want more than entry-level options but aren’t ready to invest in premium models.

Raghu Reddy, CEO of Circuit House Technologies (Lumio’s parent company), said, “We’re making projectors accessible, reliable, and joyful, backed by the same support that made our TVs a success.”

Both projectors support Full HD 1080p resolution and HDR10, ensuring vibrant colours and sharp image clarity.

Lumio has equipped the devices with its proprietary Arclight Engine to further enhance brightness and detail, making them suitable for a variety of spaces, from bedrooms to living rooms.

Running on Google TV OS, the Arc 5 and Arc 7 offer seamless access to over 10,000 OTT apps, including Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video.

This makes them true smart entertainment hubs, capable of replacing or complementing a traditional smart TV.

The remote control even includes dedicated buttons for Netflix, YouTube, TLDR, and Google Assistant for quick access.

The projectors come with an Under-Stand mount, making it easy to set them up on flat surfaces without any complicated installation.

At just 1.33 kg, the Arc 5 is ideal for portable use, such as in hostels or for travel movie nights. The Arc 7, with higher brightness, is well-suited for larger, more permanent setups.

The Arc 5 delivers 200 ANSI lumens brightness and features a 5W Dolby Audio speaker, while the Arc 7 steps it up with 400 ANSI lumens and dual 8W stereo speakers.

Both projectors are powered by an MTK 9630 processor, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage for smooth app performance.

Features like Smooth Trapezoidal Recalibration (STR8) provide auto-keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and instant autofocus via a Time-of-Flight (TOF) sensor. These tools allow users to start watching content without any manual adjustments.

Both models include HDMI 2.0 (ARC-enabled), USB 2.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Bluetooth 5.1 for wider compatibility. As a launch offer, the Arc 7 will be available at ₹29,999 during Amazon Prime Day (July 12–14), offering a ₹5,000 discount.
