Realme is planning to launch two new flagship phones at the earliest. Reports say that Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro could both be released together in October 2025.

It is expected that both phones will run on the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. This is a high-end and new chip from Qualcomm offering about 25-26% performance compared to the previous version. It means you’ll get faster games, smoother apps, and better battery life.

The GT 8 Pro will have a flat 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display, probably with a sharp 2K resolution. This phone may have an anti-glare AR coating, helping to reduce screen reflections. These are best for outdoor use. It is more likely custom-made by Samsung, which will have very slim bezels.

The new phone can have a metal frame with a modern look and narrow edges. It may come with IP69 water and dust resistance, and will come with under-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanning.

Leaks show a huge 7,000mAh battery, which is paired with 100W fast charging (some days it’s 120W). It means the phone may charge very quickly despite the large battery.

The Realme brand heavily focuses on camera performance. The GT 8 Pro might have a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera, making use of Samsung’s HP9 sensor. It gives better zoom quality and high resolution. It will have a 50 MP main sensor.

Qualcomm is now planning to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip at the Snapdragon Conference in September. Realme may hold its event and launch a phone in China in October after Qualcomm’s unveiling, which might be followed by a global or India launch.

Both Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro sound stronger according to the sources, with big, bright screens, long battery life, fast charging, and top-level performance, along with advanced cameras.
