Proven Strategy to Get 10K Followers on New Instagram Account in Just 30 Days

Instagram has now become one of the most vital social media platforms for content creators to get more reach and brand deals. You should also build your presence on Instagram, and today I’m sharing a proven strategy to grow your account.

I already have my profile, but I created a new professional Instagram account to test how many days it would take to grow it from 0 to 10,000 followers. To my surprise, I completed 10K followers in less than 30 days, and here’s the complete timeline.

The username of the account is being kept secret for privacy reasons, because I want to grow it organically. If I reveal it here, then many of you will follow it, and that would not be a genuine strategy for many of the beginners. Here’s how I did it from scratch.

One Post Daily for 30 Days

I created a new faceless Instagram account on May 3, 2025, and then created 10 reels to post one reel daily for the next 10 days.

After a few days, I kept creating more reels to post every day for the next 30 days. I even uploaded two reels on some days, and that helped get more reach and growth.

If you want to grow a new Instagram profile, then first create enough content to post regularly. Many people post for a few days, and then they go out of content. That’s why I create content in bulk and schedule it for the future.

Boost Posts for Initial Reach

When you create a new account, Instagram does not have any idea about the audience to whom your posts to be shown. It happened with me also, my reels got negligible views for the first 4-5 days.

To help Instagram find the right people who might be interested in my posts, I boosted two reels with an ad spend of ₹1000 and got around 40,000 views combined, along with over 500 followers.

The most important thing when boosting reels is to select the right audience. Don’t run ads for everyone; choose your own audience with their interests aligning with your content.

Instagram now has an idea of my target audience, and when I posted reels after the boost, they started to get more reach. The followers I got also helped boost the new reels organically.

Collab with Similar Niche Accounts

Despite boosting a few reels, the following organic reach was not that much. The new reels would get around 1000-2000 views, and the growth was not accelerating. So I collaborated with a similar niche account, and it changed the game completely.

I found an Instagram profile that posted similar content and asked him for a collab reel. He charged a few thousand rupees, and we posted a collab reel that was shown on his account’s feed also.

The collab reel got around 30,000 views in a single day because the other account had more than 50,000 followers. The reel reached new people whose interest was aligned with the content, and so it performed very well and boosted the organic reach in just a few days.

Now, the new reels I posted started to get more reach, and the growth kept increasing to the extent that many reels got over 100K views, and one reel with 1 Million+ views.

I kept posting one reel daily, and the new Instagram account completed 10,000 followers on the 25th day of its creation. But then I found another hack to boost the organic reach.

Comment CTA for More Reach

If you watch a lot of reels every day, then you might have watched some videos where creators ask you to comment a specific word on the video, and they’ll send you something in your direct message (DM).

By asking you to comment, they eventually increase interactions on their reels, and the platform boosts their reach by seeing the engagement.

You might be thinking, how is it possible to message everyone who comments on your videos? Don’t worry, this can be easily done with automation tools like ManyChat.

Once you set the comment automation to your Instagram reel, anyone who comments the specific word, they will get a reply first, along with the set message in their DMs.

If you’re not sure how this strategy will work in the growth of your new Instagram account, you can try it by manually replying to the comments and sending them the desired information in their messages.

This has helped my profile a lot, and the comment interactions really boost the organic reach your reels would get usually.

10K Followers in 30 Days

My new Instagram account got more than 10,000 followers in 30 days, all because of the strategy I discussed above. This has been tested for the first time, and now I’m trying to replicate the same strategy on another profile.

I can’t guarantee that you’ll also get the exact number of followers in the same duration. But one thing I can assure you is that this strategy will definitely boost the growth of your new Instagram account.
