POCO has officially launched the POCO M7 Plus 5G in India, the latest addition to its popular M series and the successor to the M6 Plus. The smartphone boasts a 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, making it the largest display in its segment.
The screen features a centre punch-hole design, 91% screen-to-body ratio, 550 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for durability.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD.
The phone also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM for improved multitasking. It runs on Android 15 with HyperOS, promising two major Android updates and four years of security patches.
For photography, the POCO M7 Plus 5G comes equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera, an additional secondary sensor, and an 8MP front camera for selfies. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, and IP64 dust and splash resistance.

One of its biggest highlights is the 7000mAh battery, the largest in the segment using silicon-carbon technology, while still maintaining a slim profile at just 8.4mm. The company claims the battery can last 144 hours of offline music playback, 27 hours of social media browsing, 12 hours of navigation, and 24 hours of video streaming.
It supports 33W fast charging and 18W reverse wired charging. POCO says the battery is designed for 1600 charge cycles, retaining up to 80% of its capacity even after four years.
Connectivity options include 5G support (n1/n3/n5/n8/n28/n40/n78 bands), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port.
The POCO M7 Plus 5G will be available in Chrome Silver, Aqua Blue, and Carbon Black colours. Pricing is set at ₹13,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and ₹14,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant.
