Infinix has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming budget 5G smartphone, the Infinix Hot 60i 5G, for India. The device will make its debut on August 16 at 12 PM IST and will be available for purchase via Flipkart. A dedicated Flipkart microsite is already live, showcasing the phone’s design, colour variants, and key specifications.
The Infinix Hot 60i 5G will be available in four distinct colour finishes, Shadow Blue, Monsoon Green, Sleek Black, and Plum Red. The design features a sleek back panel with a horizontal camera visor, giving it a premium look despite being in the budget segment. The rear camera setup houses a 50MP main sensor paired with a dual-LED flash.
Up front, the phone will sport a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a fluid scrolling and gaming experience. Under the hood, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 5G processor, making it one of the most affordable 5G devices in the market.
The handset will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage expansion details have not been revealed yet.
The Infinix Hot 60i 5G will run on XOS 15 based on Android 15, making it one of the first budget smartphones in India to ship with the latest Android version out of the box. It will also include One-Tap Infinix AI for improved user experience and come with an IP64 rating, offering dust and water resistance.
Powering the device is a massive 6,000mAh battery, which the brand claims can deliver up to 128 hours of music playback. While charging speed details have not been disclosed, the large battery is expected to offer excellent endurance for day-to-day use.
While the company has not officially confirmed the price, early reports suggest that the Infinix Hot 60i 5G could be priced under ₹10,000 in India, making it an attractive option for users seeking 5G connectivity on a budget.
