Xiaomi is all set to expand its smartphone portfolio in India as part of its 11th anniversary celebration. While official details remain limited, strong leaks and teasers suggest the upcoming launches could include the much-anticipated Redmi 15 5G and Redmi 15C.

The company recently shared a teaser image hinting at the side profile of one of the upcoming phones, sparking speculation around its large battery capacity.

Though Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed battery specs yet, the teaser boldly claims the device can offer up to 7.5 hours of standby on just 1% battery, a clear sign that battery life will be a standout feature.

According to industry tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the teased smartphone is likely the Redmi 15 5G, which could feature a massive 7,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In terms of display, leaks suggest the phone will sport a 6.9-inch Full HD+ LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering a fluid and responsive visual experience. This makes the Redmi 15 5G particularly appealing for media consumption, scrolling, and gaming.

The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, offering solid performance for everyday tasks. It will likely run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0, Xiaomi’s latest custom UI.

The design remains partially concealed, but the teaser shows the left edge of the phone with a power button and volume rocker. The back seems to house a dual-camera setup, and leaks hint at a 50MP main sensor for crisp photography. An 8MP front camera is also expected for selfies and video calls.

An Amazon microsite confirms that the phone will be available via Amazon India and Xiaomi India’s official website, further signaling an imminent launch. The Redmi 15C, on the other hand, is tipped to feature a 6,000mAh battery and dual rear cameras, targeting budget-conscious users.

With such impressive battery and display specs, the Redmi 15 5G appears to be aimed at users looking for a feature-packed smartphone without breaking the bank. As Xiaomi continues to focus on value-driven innovation, more official details are expected soon.
