Indian tech brand Primebook is gearing up to launch its latest budget-friendly laptop, the Primebook 2 Neo, on July 31 in India. Aimed at students, professionals, and everyday users, this Android-powered laptop promises an ideal blend of performance, simplicity, and affordability.

The Primebook 2 Neo is attractively priced at Rs. 15,990, making it a compelling choice for those on a tight budget. To make the offer even more appealing, the first 100 buyers on the official Primebook website will get an additional Rs. 1,000 discount, bringing the effective price down to Rs. 14,990.

At this price point, the Primebook 2 Neo positions itself as an accessible and practical device for those who need a lightweight machine for daily tasks.

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99, an octa-core processor known for its efficiency and solid performance in everyday computing. Paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the device is well-equipped to handle multitasking, browsing, online classes, video streaming, and document editing with ease.

The Primebook 2 Neo runs on PrimeOS 3.0, a custom operating system built on Android 15. This software aims to provide a desktop-like user interface while retaining the flexibility and app ecosystem of Android.

For users transitioning from tablets or smartphones, the experience will feel familiar, making the device easy to use from day one.

Storage won’t be an issue either. The laptop comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, known for its faster read/write speeds. It also supports microSD card expansion up to 512GB, giving users plenty of room for assignments, files, media, and apps.

One of the standout features of the Primebook 2 Neo is its built-in on-screen AI assistant. While the company hasn’t revealed all its capabilities yet, it’s expected to assist users through voice commands, quick tips, and navigation support, bringing a touch of smart functionality to an entry-level laptop.

The Primebook 2 Neo will be available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart, and Primebook’s official website starting July 31. Given its balanced specs, Android-based OS, and budget-friendly pricing, it’s set to make a mark in the entry-level laptop segment.
