Indian smartphone brand Lava is gearing up to launch the Blaze AMOLED 2, a follow-up to last year’s Blaze AMOLED. With the official launch date confirmed for August 11, Lava continues to build its reputation for offering stylish and affordable devices made in India.

The Blaze AMOLED 2 reflects the brand’s evolving design language and comes with a slew of upgrades in display, performance, and camera.

Lava has confirmed that the Blaze AMOLED 2 will be priced under ₹15,000, making it a solid option in the mid-range segment. The smartphone will be available in two elegant color options: Midnight Black and Feather White.

Given its features and price point, Lava is clearly targeting budget-conscious users who still want a premium AMOLED display and strong performance.

The Blaze AMOLED 2 embraces Lava’s “Linea” design philosophy, which is centered on linear aesthetics, precision engineering, and user comfort. Inspired by the Latin word for “line,” the design approach results in ultra-slim construction, measuring just 7.55mm thick and weighing only 174 grams.

The smartphone features advanced component stacking and a custom-engineered ultra-thin housing, delivering a sleek form factor without compromising on durability. Lava has also equipped the device with an IP64 rating, offering resistance against dust and light water splashes.

One of the standout features of the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 is its 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The immersive screen offers vivid colors, deeper blacks, and smoother visuals — ideal for streaming, gaming, or everyday use.

The display includes a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, though Lava hasn’t officially disclosed its resolution yet.

Under the hood, the Blaze AMOLED 2 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 (previously referred to as Dimensity 7060), a capable chipset suited for multitasking and light gaming.

It will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, ensuring faster app loading and smoother overall performance.

Lava has confirmed the device will feature a 50MP Sony sensor on the rear, promising detailed and sharp photography. On the front, it is expected to include an 8MP selfie camera, though this hasn’t been fully confirmed.

The phone will come with a 5,000mAh battery and support for 33W fast charging, allowing for quicker top-ups during the day. Stereo speakers and an IR blaster are also part of the feature set, adding to the phone’s versatility.

With its combination of premium display, slim design, and modern specifications, the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 looks promising for users looking for flagship-like features at a budget price. Lava’s focus on design, usability, and performance reflects its growing confidence in the competitive Indian smartphone market.

The device launches officially on August 11, and all eyes will be on how it performs in the sub-₹15,000 segment.
