The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE is the newest mid-range tablet of the flagship S series tablets. Fan Edition (FE) devices from Samsung aim to provide the most value from the flagship series, but at an affordable price, with some minor cost-cuttings.

Launched at a starting price of ₹49,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage WiFi model, you can now buy for under 40,000 Rupees with discounts and card offers on Flipkart.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE is positioned as a mid-range tablet with flagship DNA, at an affordable price, catering to students, content creators, and casual users alike.

Design & Build: Stylish, Sturdy, and Slim

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE stands out with a sleek aluminium unibody design that feels both premium and durable.

At just 6mm thickness and around 500grams weight, it’s lightweight and portable, perfect for on-the-go use. It also comes with IP68 rating for dust and water and resistance.

Display: Bright, Smooth, but Not AMOLED

It features a 10.9-inch Super PLS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits brightness, and resolution of 2304 x 1440.

While not as rich in contrast as Samsung’s AMOLED screens, the visuals are vibrant and responsive—ideal for streaming, reading, or note-taking.

S Pen: Creativity in Your Hands

Samsung bundles the S Pen right in the box with the Galaxy Tab S10 FE. It is responsive, accurate, and fun to use.

Whether you’re sketching, jotting down notes, or navigating the UI with Air Actions, the S Pen makes the tablet feel more productive and creative.

AI-powered features like handwriting-to-text, Circle to Search, and smart note suggestions are built in.

Performance: Smooth for Everyday Tasks

This tablet is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 processor (4nm) and paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The S10 FE handles everyday apps, multitasking, and light gaming with ease.

It’s not meant for heavy gamers or pro video editors, but for casual users, it’s more than enough. It has Geekbench scores of ~1,360 (single-core) and ~3,928 (multi-core).

Battery Life: All-Day, All-Night Power

With an 8,000mAh battery, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE is a true endurance champ, offering up to 17 hours of video playback.

It’s a great choice for binge-watchers, students, and remote workers who hate reaching for the charger every few hours.

Sound & Multimedia: Loud and Immersive

It is equipped with dual AKG-tuned speakers and Dolby Atmos support, and the audio experience is immersive and balanced.

The tablet is not as loud as premium tablets, but good enough for Netflix, YouTube, and music streaming. Also it has no headphone jack and offers USB-C or Bluetooth audio only.

Camera Setup: Functional, Not Flashy

It has a rear Camera of 13MP (4K video capable) and a front Camera of 12MP (ultra-wide).

Cameras are clear and functional, best suited for video calls, document scanning, and occasional photos—not meant to replace your phone’s camera.

Software & AI Features

The Galaxy S10 FE runs on Android 15 with One UI 7, packed with Samsung’s Galaxy AI features like:

  • Circle to Search with Google
  • Real-time translation
  • AI-powered productivity tools
  • Samsung DeX support for desktop-like experience

Samsung also promises up to 7 years of updates, a huge bonus for longevity.

However, there are a few disadvantages as well, like it has no AMOLED display, and performance isn’t ideal for heavy gaming. The speakers are not the best and could be louder.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 FE doesn’t aim to be the fastest tablet or the best display on the market, but it excels at what matters most to everyday users: durability, battery life, stylus creativity, and smart software.
