Samsung’s upcoming phone, the Galaxy A07, has surfaced in various leaks via a Google Play Console listing, offering an early peek into its hardware and design. This is positioned firmly in the budget segment, and it appears to be a refresh of last year’s A06 model.

Samsung will reportedly be using MediaTek Helio G99, which will replace last year’s G85 chip. The Helio G99 comprises two Cortex A76 cores at up to 2.2 GHz and six Cortex A55 cores with a Mali G57 GPU. This even offers you 40% faster multi-core performance and more gains in single-core speed compared to the G85.

The leaked image of this shows a U-shaped waterdrop notch sitting in a display that’s framed by bottom bezels and thick sides. It will have a dual camera module enclosed with flash beside it and a striped or ridged back pattern.

The Samsung logo may sit near the bottom of the panel. Based on the information or reports, the screen is listed as HD+ resolution at 720 × 1,600 pixels around 300 ppi pixel density.

This Play Console may show a configuration with 6 GB of RAM, with a 4 GB variant as well. Samsung might even give you multiple memory options at launch. The Galaxy A07 is flagged as running Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7. It would be the first budget galaxy phones shipping with the latest Android version.

Reports suggest that Samsung is willing to upgrade its entry-level lineup without even delivering a sharper processor, more RAM, without increasing cost and up-to-date software. The design will be simple and familiar, with built-in cues that may keep your manufacturing costs low while you offer a modern pill camera module.

Samsung didn’t make anything official about A07. Its appearance in Google developer listings and support pages hints that the launch will happen.

The Galaxy A07 is a modest but meaningful update over the A06, featuring more memory, fresh software, and a faster chip.
