Realme is preparing to launch a groundbreaking smartphone equipped with a 10,000mAh+ battery on August 27. While the official name of the device is yet to be revealed, the company has begun teasing the handset on social media, highlighting its massive battery capacity and next-generation charging technology.
Earlier this year, Realme showcased a concept phone with a 10,000mAh battery and 320W fast charging support, sparking excitement among tech enthusiasts. Now, the brand seems ready to take the concept further with a commercial launch, making it one of the largest smartphone batteries ever offered in the market.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Realme teased the upcoming phone with the phrase “1x000mAh”, suggesting that the device will feature at least a 10,000mAh battery, if not more. Another teaser read: “From 320W fast charging to massive 10,000mAh battery… What’s coming next?”, indicating that improved wired charging speeds may also be part of the package.
This aligns with Realme’s earlier innovation when it introduced its SuperSonic 320W charging technology. The company claimed the charger could power a phone from 0 to 100 percent in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
Additionally, a single minute of charging could reportedly restore up to 26 percent battery life, while reaching 50 percent took only two minutes.
Back in May, Realme’s GT concept phone with a 10,000mAh battery measured under 8.5mm thickness, weighed a little over 200 grams, and featured a stylish semi-transparent back design. The phone introduced a unique ‘Mini Diamond’ architecture, which allowed the large battery to fit into a slim body without compromising design.
While the official model name is still under wraps, Realme’s teasers strongly suggest that the new handset will combine long-lasting battery life with record-breaking fast charging speeds. More details about the smartphone’s specifications, design, and availability are expected to surface as the launch date approaches.
With this upcoming release, Realme could potentially redefine smartphone battery and charging standards, especially for power users who demand durability and performance.
